version typing smbclient -L nasname).
I'm accessing the nas with samba, i'm sure becouse i've disabled NFS server in
the NAS settings, leaving enebled only samba server.

Totem (in 7.10) goes a little bit funny when using the reproduction
steps. Keep P held down until the time bar stops moving from left to
right (this seems to happen after about 6 seconds on my system). When
you next unpause the seekbar will not move and the sound will never

I have the same error on Hardy, both on my AMD64 PC (Nvidia Based) and
my AMD64 Laptop (ATI Based).
Attached is the output I get when trying to start f-spot from terminal.

I upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04 and experience the same problem - I have an
Asus M2R32-MVP motherboard with the ATI SB600 Southbridge, and since the
upgrade, the kernel will not boot because it doesn't recognize the SATA
drive where Linux resides.
This problem existed before - see bug #75055 - but
Same Problem now in the release 64 bit Hardy- verified on laptop and
desktop yesterday- update manager hangs and sudo reports unable to
resolve host. (This happens after changing Domain name in Network
settings - instead of changing the workgroup name in smb.conf it's
adding the domain name to the
OK.

One solution here : rebuiling Madwifi didn't help but de-checking - re-
checking it in restricted system/hardware drivers and restarting fixed

I confirm that the problem persists. I am using wvdial and firefox
always starts offline even when I am connected. Even if this is a bug in
NetworkManager, it is also a bug in Firefox and I can't see how you can
deny it - why should Firefox depend on nm to run?
