I agree that it was never intended to be run as root. However, note that
I did not ran firefox as root that caused the problem to occur. I ran it
as a normal user, and the problem occured. Once I ran it as root, it

Neither lbm's 1.2.25 nor lum 1.2.0 work for me when connecting to WEP

Anyway, it seems that one of the last two kernel/nvidia-glx updates
solved the problem since I did not see
This is exploitable in a very easy fashion using the following command
gnome-terminal --hide-menubar --full-screen -e ssh host-with-passkey
On the flip side can this agent easily be disabled, I'd prefer to
explicitly opt-in to agent with ssh-add are there any disadvantages to
yanking it

Here's a backtrace of Gedit.
Simply started program and clicked on Open button.
Can open a file through file browser but if I try and do a save as,
program just dies.
Same with Gimp and OO.

when I'm trying to open my files, computer update program automaticly, and I

For Hardy:
1- Add this GPG key to verify the repository:

$ gpg --export --armor
i use ubuntu 8.04 lts, installed bootchart, editted Grub so bootchart
would do it´s thing but all it does is drop me to a busybox (couldn find
/sbin/bootchart). (which is right, i can find bootchart myself even
though it IS installed with sudo apt-get install bootchart.
