Hey I tried rollbacks earlier, (bug #199040),but they didn't consistently work.
After a few reboots it stopped working. When it worked, a dvd would
mount as /dev/cdrom instead of /dev/cdrom.
Also the roll backs did not work on my 64bit laptop.

This monitor and video card setup works perfectly in Windows XP Pro.
The monitor worked perfectly with Ubuntu/KDE 6.10 and older versions.
It also works perfectly in all versions of OS X. In all cases the
monitor is using a DVI connection and switching to a VGA adapter did not

version of FTP... The FTP protocol doesn't support file locks by
design... Maybe you would have better luck using a smb file share
rather then sftp?

ability to leave out the second parameter, in which case it will create
directories as needed, since then it is able to unambiguously determine

On the latest ubuntu/i386:
- SVN r13990 will crash immediately. Under valgrind 3.3.0 it will report
several invalid writes and then valgrind itself will crash.
- SVN r13993 and up shouldn't crash or have any valgrind
Bugs do not become invalid just because the release in which they were
originally found goes out of support. os-prober is still in current
versions of Ubuntu and still has this bug.

As of Intrepid, this has been fixed upstream; intro(2) no longer
mentions a specific version of Linux, and syscalls(2) is up to date with
Linux 2.6.25.

I don't think this is a problem with Kubuntu 8.10 (Intrepid/KDE4)
