Believe me I tried to provide more information and work out what caused it (to
me it seemed to be triggered by copy and paste). It's not a super common bug
but when it hits the results are brutal. No one followed up after my Feisty

I have changed my email program from EVOLUTION to THUNDERBIRD. The THUNDERBIRD

This does not appear to be a bug in ufw because the output of 'iptables
-L' is not consistent with ufw's chains. For example, if ufw were
loaded, you should see various ufw-* chains, but none are listed above.
You can also check if ufw is loaded with:
$ sudo ufw status
ufw 'disable' will flush
