Scott James Remnant is correct: The kernel need not pick a *RANDOM* MAC
address, it could use one that's at least predictable
This is an old problem that has bee solved. The Network Working Group
documented the issue in 1998 and provided the correct solution: reverse
the bit order of the LAN

on i386, the package installs and runs just fine. Maybe a missing
dependency in the package for the new NSS or cURL requirement, while
already accidentally installed on my system.
I was so free to subscribe the packager of the flashplugin-package in
PPA to this bug, maybe he has time
