The problem is that I dragged Kvirc's icon from the menu (traditional
menu) into a panel. But in plasma-appletsrc, the following was entered:

Changing it to this:

It could be useful for QA efforts such as ISO testing and given that
Stefan is upstream and we're just entered FF, I think it's safe enough

libsdl was definitely working before the 12th. However, I don't think
the removal of arts is to blame, at least not directly. It just seems to
be a simple configuration change when the debs were built.

I have the same, identical, problem.
My computer is a HP 6915nr and I have a GeForce Go 7150M.
I can provide several scheenshot if needed.
The problem affects any window that is not maximized even if alone in

I was actually hooping this would get backported to KDE 4.1 in Ubuntu
8.10, not everyone uses the unsupported KDE 4.2 in Ubuntu 8.10.
Marking this as we fixed this problem is not exactly correct, and not
