Yes, I reproduced it in Jaunty. No, it is not fixed as of 03/27/09. In
fact, I check the status of this bug every day when my computer screen
locks and my full name does not show up on the login screen (KDE3.5
kdesktoplock uses an identical mechanism to retrieve the user's full
name). ;-)

I was able to reproduce the steps above with a similar result. I took
10 seconds on each password entry attempt. The first two simply did not
take, with no error message. The third attempt produced the error

The phylib is ready except for the broadcom module loading problem.
That problem is mainly a problem distros need to solve, so ubuntu need
to integrate proper phylib support.

I want to confirm this issue; my laptop is a Thinkpad X61 and brightness
control is not working with Intrepid Ibex (it worked in Ubuntu 8.04).

There is a new round in the game... Critical Mozilla bug 485217 has just
been fixed and is on the list for SeaMonkey 1.1.16 (Firefox 3.0.8 next
week as well). Currently there is no release date for SeaMonkey 1.1.16
but maybe this comes soon? Worth waiting? - Regards Wolfgang
