experience failures of the machine (Thinkpad X200) to suspend when I

For me it's random, actions in all sorts of different applications seem to have
triggered it.
- using kubuntu (KDE 4.2) but I think I even had this problem in 3.5...
- The mouse cursor still tracks the mouse.
- Mouse clicks and keyboard input are ignored, requests to change VT are
ignored.

Just posted this to zwaldowski's bug.
For me it's random, actions in all sorts of different applications seem to have
triggered it.
- using kubuntu (KDE 4.2) but I think I even had this problem in 3.5...
- The mouse cursor still tracks the mouse.
- Mouse clicks and keyboard input are ignored,
After upgrading today (945GM), I noticed desktop effects were working
properly, with the expected performance. Has this bug been fixed?

When I built packages from non-unstripped sources, I've got *-dev
packages, but if I build packages from unstripped sources, there are no
*-dev packages...

Terminal results:
When I start browsing Facebook, the terminal shows the following result:

Confirmed in Jaunty. However these patches doesn't fix it for me. New
upstream version that uses utf-8 is requested in bug 327658.
