overwritten or changed, the whole desktop freezes for 15 seconds. The

package hlbr 1.5~rc2-1 failed to install/upgrade:
I did so. the situation improved significantly(though i still experience the
bug occasionally).
however now there is something wrong on startup. i have to restart pulseaudio
manually (it shows up in task manager so im pretty sure it is running on
startup).

I correct myself. my slapd is not running I have the following errors in
syslog:

I'm also experiencing this problem,I had about 3000 FPS in Ubuntu 8.04
with the restricted driver installed,but only 300 FPS in Ubuntu 9.04(no
such driver listed)

The same thing happens if for example I open a pdf file in evince, go to
full screen mode and move the mouse cursor so that it's over the Leave
Fullscreen button. After a second or two, the screen starts to flicker
like crazy until I move the mouse off the button.
