Before Hardy or Gutsy my screen even turned black and I couldn't even
get to the login screen. All I could see was a green square with Hz?
in it. And I had to use a different monitor. In Hardy Heron and in
Jaunty Jackalope I get to the desktop.

I think I solved it... it had to do with apparmor.
I had completely removed apparmor in intrepid and slapd was reading
schema files from a location outside /etc/ldap (which I had configured
myself).
I don't know if in jaunty the apparmor kernelspace is built into the
kernel rather than as

Hey guys, I had the same problem with my sansa e280.
I tried the 10-usb-music-players.fdi fix, but didnt'd work at all for me.
I have some insights though, that may be useful.
I have windows 7 beta on my Vbox machine, and there my e280 connects just fine

Please try to reinstall your printer queue, Ubuntu 9.04 includes hpijs 3.9.2
while your printer seems to use the hpijs 2.8.7 ppd?
