It is not a CUPS problem. If you send a multiple-page PostScript or PDF
file directly to CUPS (with the lp or lpr command) the printout is
always correct.

Same thing is happening to me with my Intel HDA chipset.
If I stay within Gnome, everything seems to work fine. But if I set my
default session to XBMC (possible in the latest builds of XBMC), the
master channel is at 0% when I boot up sometimes.
I haven't tried building XBMC with Pulse Audio
Now, I'm nominating for Hardy and Intrepid. This fix should be included
in the kvm-84 backport that I'm working on.

mode to Compatible in the BIOS fixes the install issue (I had already

I'm just re-confirming the same problem with today's latest updates (May
6, 2009).
I only run *UBUNTUs now. I'm curious if this bug has cropped up on
other distributions, eg RedHat, Suse, etc., or is it just in the UBUNTU
family? If it isn't general then maybe its a *UBUNTU configuration
quirk.
When I installed network-manager-vpnc, resolvconf came along as a dependency.
Is that really necessary? Doesn't
network-manager have all the same functionality built in anyway?
my guess is that it gets pulled in by vpnc ... which is a vpnc packaging
bug then.

I have seen this error as well when I switched over to linux-rt (as part
of Ubuntu Studio), using 32-bit ubuntu.

I have the same problem and error when waking my computer after suspend.
It only occurs when i have Compiz enabled.

Hi,
Jaunty has CONFIG_BLK_DEV_LOOP=y, which prevents you from loading
the loop-aes modules if you build them externally, so in order to use them
you must build your own kernel as well.
