got my Broadcom BCM4318 wireless card to work. I loaded NDISwrapper
through the Gnome add/remove application. I did several reboots and was
just familiarizing myself with Gnome packages, had finished running

Well, this fixed the headphone jack problem however trouble is nowhere
away from my T-1625. Is it only me or are you guys also having problems
with getting simultaneous audio out of different sources? Besides, my
Flash player is not able to produce any sound anymore. Any ideas?

The intel/nvidia have a different chassis/hardware and thus different bios than
the amd/ati DV5.
Because on the Intel/Nvidia, the suspend never worked, with proprietary drivers
or not (Nvidia).
The only hope i can see is from HP and a new bios, like for the DV7 and

snes9express.
I have found that I can get key repeat working again by unchecking then
rechecking the enable repeat checkbox under the Keyboard system
preference applet.

My most humble apologies. The problem is NOT specific to gnome-
screensaver. XScreensaver exhibits the same problem -- it just took a
little longer.

First, I don't need private email about curl bugs. We deal with them on
the curl mailing lists just fine. But I do respond to private emails
unless they accidentally get caught in my spam box, which I then presume
your (Rilium) email did.

It's a joke? Isn't it? Not that it is a good idea separating cronjobs by time
to give a system more balance.
But I think most users prefer a fix, not a workaround.

Since it appears that we have like 30+ people and no developers or
anyone interested in fixing this bug, is it worth it reporting it on
kernel.org? I think i read somewhere that this problem does not appear
with any other distro though, so i am not sure on how far we would get
with that...

I have the same problem with Flash, no sound. I went through all the
different mixers available, and all the 'option' settings for playback
in the Alsa Mixer, to no avail.
For now, the music playback will soothe me while I code, but since I
watch a lot of dance videos on youtube, I would love to
