My EeePC 1000H was a -proposed updated Linux pc 2.6.28-12-generic #43-Ubuntu
(normal 9.04 and not Netbook remix). Both rc6 and rc7 tested. Possibilities

I have this same problem in Ubuntu 9.04.
I try to add a printer over SMB, and when I click the triangle next to
the computer name, it turns partway, freezes for about half a minute,
then disappears (which I take to mean it doesn't find any shared
printers from that computer even though I know it

Actually it looks like around Breezy. I spoke to an archive Admin we are
unsure how this happened, although it also is not worth fixing
(complexity and small package size). A new kiki version would fix the
issue in a later release.

the patch is the only thing that worked for me. you just have to make sure that
you have the sources repository enabled, and that you use sudo when necessary.

Sorry, but I can't remember exactly, but as far as I know I installed
the qt-assistant package, and when I wanted to run it, there weren't
assistant, and after I installed the docs, it worked. I tried it in the
rc and the final version too.
