I have a home-built Mini-ITX system based on Zotac IONITX-D-E (Dual Core
Atom 330, Nvidia 9400M chipset). It used to automatically resume
immediately after being suspended [):]. With the 2.6.31-11 kernel, this
system now can suspend and stay asleep [(:]. It wakes up on a PS/2
keyboard event
This also affects me, Ubuntu Jaunty, cannot run any package manager,
Synaptic, Update manager, apt-get, or aptitude from the menu or the

With the latest Karmic alpha of Ubuntu Netbook Remix on a dell min 9
(kernel 2.6.31) the time remaing of the battery is not available on both
gnome-power-manager applet (package 2.28) and acpi (package 1.4.2).

all installed services by looking at installed jar files.
Remark: the current design (multiple initscripts) was there to enable
the possibility to stop just one service without affecting all the
