I am using kernel 2.6.31.17 now and I have also tested lucid kernel
2.6.32.4 as well. Neither of these kernels solve the Huawei E220 'loop'
bug. I have a 2.6.32 kernel on Sidux and that does work with the E220,
but only if you use usb-modeswitch as well (version 1.0.7 in my case).

The solution was to use a different keyboard. It appears that the old
keyboard I was using (which used a 5-pin DIN connector needed a special
PS/2 adapter) was not fully compatible with the Ubuntu keyboard drivers.

It appears there were problems uploading certain files. It's hard to say
what the problem is for sure as it doesn't appear that debug mode is
turned on. One thing you might want to try if the problem persists is
this:
1. Quit the Ubuntu One client
2. Backup your ~/Ubuntu One folder
3. Delete
dobey: assigning this to you to see if you can help the user to reset
the authentication.

This package's m4/python_dev.m4 script improperly refers to Python's
LOCALMODLIBS which contains a link reference to -lssl (and other libs):
py_localmodlibs=`sed -n -e 's/^LOCALMODLIBS=\(.*\)/\1/p' $py_makefile`
libavg does not build-depend on libssl-dev (nor should it as it does not
actually
libavg must not link with LOCALMODLIBS (this is the list of libs which
the python executable must be linked with, not arbitrary extensions).
