I have found out a workaround. It seems to be a bug in SWT. So not related to
Java, but actually Eclipse UI stack.
The workaround is to export the following environment variable before launching
the application :
export GDK_NATIVE_WINDOWS=1

I gave up on installing Krmic. So I went back to Jaunty and tried to reinstall
everything..on a clean slate. I downloaded .deb for boxee. My synaptic didnt

To make the internal microphone load in at startup, add the amixer line
(amixer set 'Input Source' 'Int DMic') to startup applications
(SystemPreferencesStartup Applications). I've found this has solved

The problem still exists. However my cable tv provider has removed the
channels that the system was able to find, so now it can't find any
channels.
I will be moving in a couple of days, and wont have cable tv in the
future, so I will not be able to do further testing.

I'm sorry But i do not know how to log a bug thats just requesting MLT
be updated.
Kdenlive uses MLT and so dose Open Shot but I couldnt even log a bug in
here for Kdenlive which I use daily because its KDE it was doing to
their bug system but its a problem with the way it's built in Lucid Lynx
