How about creating a collab-maint git repo on alioth.debian.org, and
continue the packaging effort there? Upstream uses git now, and alioth
is a better place for collaborating with Debian anyway (also because lp
doesn't support git).

I get the same issue on a 64-bit lucid lynx installation. In my case,
temporarily removing wins from /etc/nsswitch.conf, rebooting, then
starting Rhythmbox and unchecking the Ubuntu One Store and Lastfm
plugins, then adding wins back in to /etc/nsswitch.conf and rebooting
was enough to allow

There is a problem that administration panel settings in Time and Date
is not respected, because there are affecting ntp configuration, but
ntpdate configuration can not be set in any way. It is the bug in user

I followed the first option from that link you provided and it worked!
After verifying it worked first by adding i915.modeset=1 after quiet
splash, I made it permanent with the following two commands in a
terminal window
echo options i915 modeset=1 | sudo tee
This happened to me because for some reason 10.04 does not load the
wireless modules prior to attempting to connect to network shares that
are in fstab. The network (samba) shares are not able to be found and
then the boot just hangs. No shell, nothing, I can only reboot or use
the work around,
I believe Wine is making the associations when it's run rather than at
package-install time so it's going to be a user-specific thing and isn't
actually a packaging bug but rather a Wine bug. So we need to open an
upstream discussion to talk about how to handle this properly.

Found a workaround. Placing a .is_audio_player file in the root of samsungs sd
card, ubuntu recognise the handy in mass-storage mode as usb player device,
banshee accepts this too.
Status now: Handy in MTP wont play from banshee and banshee did not play from
the handy. Data exchange isnt

Hey thanks! It's been awhile since I've checked that bug report.
They've asked if I've had the same issue with newer versions of Ubuntu..
but the PC gets used a lot and I just haven't had the time for a
complete new install etc. (it's planned though).

There are two problems in modem-manager (0.3-0ubuntu2, Ubuntu v10.04).
1) If the carrier signal is lost, i.e. there is a spot with no GSM/UMTS
signal, modem-manager doesn't remove itself from memory and doesn't
accept a new connection
