Actually, this wasn't fixed by an update or configuration change, but by
applying a workaround, supplied by verterok. However, I do not know if
verterok (or anyone else) has since then found the cause of the problem,
or if a fix has already been committed.

I'm using ubuntu 10.04 at work, and I keep gnome session up for weeks and weeks.
This morning I saw a 250 MB memory usage for wnck-applet, and 350 for
gnome-panel.
I killed and restarted them, now they're with low memory, but the leak is

I Have reproduced this bug in a fresh Lucid install. Libvirtd (running
on Lucid), with one v-domain (also Lucid) on hardware with three virtual
bridges (br0, br1 and br2, each connected to a physical ehternet
interface eth0 eth1 eth2).
The temp. fix mentioned by Stuart in #8 fixes the problem for
I also get this crash sometimes.
The only evidence of the crash i can get in all log files is :

I got the same problems: Encrypted dualboot (windows, kubuntu 10.04) ist
not possible (damaged tc loader).
I searched the internet, but there is no workaround.
But there are interesting informations about the truecrypt loader (see
links below): Sector 0 contains truecrypt loader, secotrs 1-62
