This bug report says that the fix has been released for Lucid. I am in
my second week of a brand new Optiplex 980, and I'm still having to run
'hda-verb /dev/snd/hwC0D0 0x1b 0x701 0' to get sound working. Am I
missing something? I'm totally up to date on packages.
