This problem has been worked-around/fixed in multistrap by dealing with
the general case of installing services into chroots. It now contains a
chroot.sh script which can be run when creating a chroot. This does the
same thing that debootstrap does, and replaces initctl and start-stop-
daemon with

I would actually recommend not installing the deb at all and instead
using the Windows package in Wine. I had problems of memory hogging with

I assume this is caused by the user defined startup application.
I disabled the login-sound via System - Administration -Login Screen,
but the sound still plays at login.
After disabling / unchecking the 'Gnome Login Sound' System -
Preferences - Startup Applications, the sound doesn't play at

Your BIOS doesn't leave a aperture memory hole
Please enable the IOMMU option in the BIOS setup
Either go into the BIOS setup and enable the IOMMU or if your system
does not have an IOMMU (too old) try editing /etc/default/grub

I made a simple patch on top of the current package. It creates dos2unix
and unix2dos links via update-alternatives, so we could easily replace
them when dos2unix package will be ready.
You can build patched deb as follows:
sudo apt-get build-dep tofrodos
sudo apt-get source tofrodos

A .bashrc is only copied from /etc/skel upon user creation. This is the
expected behaviour.
If you want to have a .bashrc, why do you delete it?
If you want to have a default .bashrc back, copy the one from /etc/skel/
