No worries about the emails - I was a bit surprised at the sudden flurry
of activity though!
I got wireless to work by using the hotkey to switch on the wireless,
then disable / re-enable wireless in Network Manager. Also I found that

Hey Chris,
Unfortunatly I've tried that and it doesn't seem to work at all. The
whole activating of the wireless is a little odd in fact it doesn't seem
to have an effect sometimes. dmesg doesn't report much either.
/var/log/syslog does give NetworkManager errors and timeouts though.

XChat is arguably the most popular irc client for linux users and should
definitely use a monochrome icon (especially since it apparently already
has one).
Perhaps this could be done before 10.10 is out?
