Winbind doesn't automatically start when recovering from hibernation.
So... Does anyone have a workaround for this issue that doesn't require
X11 libraries on the host, doesn't require root password on the host?
This is a real pain... every virtualization solution I have tried on
Ubuntu requires something to be installed I don't want to, X11, root
password etc...

Well... usually i am using that users just to allow other users connection

There is something that has been bothering me for a while now: e-d-a-z
verbose may be a hint of what is the availability, but not necessarily
current. That's OK, any measures on a dynamic system are by definition
outdated at the moment of measurement.
The point is 'e-d-a-z verbose' should behave
Of course the usershares are not shown in the smb.conf. So if anyone has
the same problem and wants to delete his shares. Just delete the
textfiles under /var/lib/samba/usershares/

This is Ubuntu added appindicator patch into ibus and ibus-dameon try to

here's a weird thing.
capital D works fine.
i.e. capslock - then hit 'd' works fine
shift-d works fine.
However. put capslock on and do a shift-d and you get a minimize again.

One additional note: Some time before the system upgrade I did a minor
modification to the grub configuration. Apparently, the update process
wants to ask which version of the configuration to install. But due to
some unknown reason, the window manager is not useable at that time.

Following up on my #18 post, I can confirm 2.6.34 still works fine after
24+ hours. This supports maor's findings as well.
I don't see /sys/module/drm_kms_helper/parameters at all in 2.6.34... so
was polling added in 2.6.35?
If not that, someone have time to git bisect 2.6.34 and 2.6.35 ? :)
The login-dialog from ubuntuone-preferences cannot find the server
login.ubuntu.com when using a proxy on 10.10 with authentication :(
Please fix ubuntuone! Adding proxy-support isn't that hard!

I think it's not. Sergey Klimov doesn't mention that there is no
internet connection while both applications are installed, however in my
case this was the main problem.
