I found that rpm files exist for Turbo/RedHat/Fedora and for SuSE/Mandrake. I
read a Japanese bbs that mentioned that the Turbo/RedHat/Fedora one is what
should be used to make the .deb file. However, Alien is unable to create a .deb
file. Possibly because the rpms are for i386 and I am using

The problem was another computer was printing to this printer. Even
though I deleted and recreated the printer, same issue occurred.
Resolution was to recreate another printer with a different name. I had
to disable firestarter on the remote computer to allow it to print to
the shared printer.
Confirmed on a fully updated maverick system.

I have a Dell Inspiron 15, using Maverick. I have kubuntu installed. When I
use usb-creator-kde I get an error 'Failed to install bootloader'. I try
unetbootin and when I boot from the usb drive no operating system is found.

couple of virtual boxes running in the background for the past couple of
days, maybe vmware workstation is not letting power management to kick

Same issue for me, Samsung N150 Plus, with Kubuntu 10.10.
With kernel proposed in #75, works well and the backlight works.

I've found that if I install Compiz Manager, select Window Decorations
and change...
/usr/bin/compiz-dectorator

/usr/bin/gtk-window-decorator

I've found that if I install the Compiz manager, select the Window
Decoration and change the line from...
/usr/bin/compiz-decorator
to
/usr/bin/gtk-window-decorator
that it appears to work.

Here's another buffer overflow bug fix. To see this problem, you have
to encode many tracks without restarting ripperX. The path environment
variable outgrows the buffer size in this function.
