This bug is a bit tricky because the way the addon widget is designed at
the moment is that the icon and label widgets are embedded within the
checkbutton widget. It seems the checkbutton doesn't accomodate
embedded event handling widgets, i.e. a link within the label does not
receive events.
I have absolutely no idea what happened here. This may or may not be a
python-apt bug, but the stack trace looks strange (A name pointer
changes, although it is just passed to another function). Closing as
invalid, as it could be fixed (most likely), or could be somewhere
outside of python-apt.

I have the same problem with two different Western Digital USB 3 drives
connected to USB 2 ports. The drives are My Book Essential 3 TB
(WDBACW0030HBK) and My Passport Essential 500 GB (WDBACY5000ABK). I can
reproduce the behavior on a laptop and a desktop, both running Ubuntu

Yea, fair enough, filed Bug #757304 for renaming the package.
The reason i mentioned it here was because updating the old icons and renaming
could be done at the same time and no need to revisit this icons issue :-)

As I should have mentioned in more detail the upgrade crashed before
'cleaning up' and 'restarting' in the update-manager-UI.
Therefore (running sudo apt-get upgrade) no packages need to be
upgraded/installed/removed/not upgraded.
