Hmm, I have no file named /etc/resolvconf/run/interface/NetworkManager ...
(the directory
/etc/resolvconf/run/interface exists though). /etc/resolv.conf is a symlink to
file /etc/resolvconf/run/resolv.conf and that file only contains the comment
lines, but not even a single nameserver line.

I also find similiar case in recent Natty build with Emacs
23.2+1-7ubuntu2. Additionally the menu for Latex (and Math mode) is not
even displayed. Loading auctex.el and preview-latex.el gives no result.

After clicking the Ubuntu button (or pressing Super key), the dash
window appears, but I can not activate the first row icons (mouse
clicks, Enter or Space keys have no effect). Typing text into search box

Not quite, I'd expect that the extra bug that apport would create to
move the private attachments to would be a duplicate of the master bug.
So it would add an extra dupe only, plus a link to the data dupe into
the description.

Thanks EffE, assuming both alsa-infos were taken with headphones plugged
in, I do notice a difference in the way the speaker pin is muted - via
Amp-Out mute in the auto model and via Pin-ctl in the toshiba model. Can
you verify that this is what's causing the hiss?

As of today, this appears to be fixed for me. Three consecutive reboots
and indicator-datetime-preferences has run correctly when invoked from
indicator-datetime and gnome-control-center
