Replacing the file vesamenu.c32 on the USB disk drive with that one
/usr/lib/syslinux/vesamenu.c32 of Ubuntu Maverick system works fine,
and is a permanent fix.
This is the same when using Mint 10 and Mint 11.

I used ddrescue tool to copy 700MB ISO image from NFS server in local
LAN to notebook and back. There was no problem with download to the
notebook but upload from notebook stopped after 235MB was transfered. I
think this proves that some problem is in the driver problem when
adapter is under heavy

I THINK that xpdf worked for me for a while before it suddenly stopped
working. But I can't be sure.
I then switched to epdfview as my PDF viewer. I was happy for a day or
two
Then epdfview started crashing just like xpdf
The thing is... epdfview still displays SOME pdfs. For epdfview
I wrote the above comment trying to argue that the epdfview bug was
probably the same but forgot to make the point after the intro.

tomboy Version 1.6.0
unity 3.8.12
this bug is appears not on every session. sometimes after rebooting all works
fine.
Also restarting the unity (for example using Alt+F2) all works fine.

Forgot to mention, checked Bug #697498 and noted people reported
resuming from suspend brings sound back. I did suspend and resume as
mentioned there. After resume, sound does comes out of speakers, but
then headphones don't work. So, it just reverses the problem.
I also tried disabling audio
