Compared to the previous versions, Oneiric is slow to shutdown. And it's
not related to the machine : it's more or less 15 secondes on all my
computers. On a Dell e4200 with an SSD harddrive, the boot process is
faster than the shutdown ! It used to be faster, like 5 seconds

Seems that there are other things that need to happen on resolvconf too
(someone had an upstratification patch that should probably be looked
