HUD appears 30 seconds or so - when playing a movie using totem, the
file is on a home share server and accessed within the home network.

Ignore my last post that bug only applys to when the window shouldn't be able
to be resized.
The reasons some grips are gone in 12.04 is probably because the application
have migrated to gtk3 and have disabled grips, this will happen over time and
the problem will disapear.

While using Gnumeric, I experienced the following: If you add a data
filter to a column (Data - Filter), and then click on the little arrow
in the top cell to display all the values you can filter for, all other
areas of the screen become unresponsive to any mouse clicks, the
@Kevin: I'm not sure. Issue 835972 is about the dialog coming up on
suspend/resume and not going away automatically.
This one is about the dialog appearing in the first place -even when
you've told it not to appear.
