I have attached a patch which improves the description of linux-tools
and should resolve this bug and I have informed the Ubuntu Kernel Team
of the availability of the patch.

It's some shortcuts, not all. My examples are:
- switch workspaces, as others have reported (I use alt-n)
- launch terminal. This one was working while it was at the default value
(ctrl-alt-t). I then changed it to my usual alt-t, and it stopped working.

I'm experiencing this bug also in Ubuntu 10.04. However it only exists
with Chromium. After patching the lighttpd the problem seemed to go
away.
Chromium is of version 16.0.912.77 (Developer Build 118311 Linux) and
