I attempted to patch the install, following the instructions at

Namely, by running:
sudo mkdir /usr/lib64/xen -p
sudo cp /usr/lib/xen-4.1/* -r /usr/lib64/xen/
sudo cp -r /usr/share/qemu-linaro/
I also confirm this bug.
In lubuntu 11.10 my workaround to fix it was to install nautilus.
Then I could drag files from an archive (opened with file-roller) to a
nautilus window. But it still crashed, if I dragged the file to the
lubuntu desktop (which means pcmanfm, right?). So the reason for
I've now tested setting of priv-reschedule happens after this if
branch and it still results in slow-motion animations. And slightly
inconsistent animation timing too. There is still dramatically more
stutter than using full-screen redraws or changing glFinish -- glFlush.

configuration in compizconfig-settings-manager.
Install compizconfig-settings-manager, then go to Window decoration
and click the option Reset setting... in Command.
After clicking that, the new command should be: /usr/bin/compiz-

I'm seeing a screen corruption on login very similar to the one shown in
the screen-shot of Bug #933322.
A 'clean' install of Precise.
Grub has the last 3 PP kernels listed 3.2.0-15 → 17 only.
No other versions of Ubuntu or any other OS's are installed on this machine.

Removing Intellihide completely is a step backwards. It was one of the
