I just hit the same situation. The solution described (with getent -s
compat passwd) wouldn't work there because they actually have passwd:
compat in /etc/nsswitch.conf and a +:: line in /etc/passwd. The
smbpasswd was already 2MiB large as I killed the import process.

be a problem when upgrading from a version where upstart does not
control squid (likely 8.04 (hardy) or 9.10 (karmic)). The packaging
needs to remove these symlinks before installing the new upstart-

Hi,
I reinstalled the latest build and the rabbitmq error has gone away.
Seems that upgrading from 11.10 on a daily build is not the best thing
to do.

Thank you Clint. I actually upgraded by Ubuntu 11.04 to ubuntu11.10 and
