Could it be that Ubuntu 12.10 still has libpoppler 18, not 19?

The evince version is 3.6.0, and the poppler package is called
libpoppler28, which lists version 0.20.4-0ubuntu1.

I have installed the video sis 771/671 drivers provided by Mr. Oliveira in an
ubuntu 12.04 and worked perfectly from the beginning and the screen resolution
is right at 1280x800, so thanks a lot; but later on I have found that when
trying to play a video with Totem the screen
By the way, how did this bug manifest itself in practice?
Is it the case that you disabled usepeerdns mode and found that
nameserver addresses were still submitted to resolvconf? What were those
addresses and where to you think they came from?

Sadly, the gnome-control-center solution does not work for me. The
problem itself still exists in linux mint 14 nadja w/ MATE desktop,
though. Cinnamon works, but I like MATE better, and now I am a bit
disappointed... why doesn't anyone care about this?

return

Same bug here. Presist in 12.10. I cannot install 12.10 because of this
bug. When I do install and run update, the system has the exact
behaviors described above. Running an Nvidia 560Ti Graphics card with
current dricers. Doing the fix for nvidia proposed in other bugs and
threads doe not resolve

Title:
Software Sources window is far
It is definitely related to the usage of r8192u driver in my system.
If i remove the usb adapter i remove kernel panica too.
The only problem is that without USB adapter i have no more network.
Maybe I have to address this bug to somebody else?

Today i got an upgrade to initramfs-tools 0.103ubuntu0.4 on RR i386, and it
seems fixing that issue: does not get error now when running sudo
update-initramfs -u
So i declare that report as fixed.

At least in Finnish television text is provided in two languages
