Was using Raring 13.04 with kernel 3.8.0-17 with NVIDIA HDMI Audio via
the NVIDIA 319.12 drivers. When upgrading to 3.8.0-18, HDMI is no
longer listed within Sound Settings or pavucontrol (only item listed
with Dummy.) Switched over to the ubuntu nividia-current driver,
Resolution: I removed the second HDD. When forced to write the boot
record to the SDD the install runs properly. The HDD can be reinstalled
after the system is rebooted.

I am using ubuntu 12.04 on my Toshiba satellite C850-F32Z.

The problem I have is it suffers total freeze, such that the only option I'm
left with is hard reset. It freezes often even when I'm just browsing and or
have a couple of folders open, but todays pissed
