This is very weird. My screen flickers most of the time. I'm using
NVIDIA's latest 313-updates drivers on Ubuntu 13.
Even when I go into BIOS, it flickers there. So this means the graphic
card must have buggy drivers that were installed by this NVIDIA's
package.

Yes, you are right - it was broken in ppa2 version. But now it works -
when I close conversation (even when there are unread messages), item
from menu is removed. And when envelope is blue because of unread
conversation I'm closing, it turns black as it should.
