I have 3.11.0-14 installed in Saucy which freezes with the default
driver but works with fglrx. Also have Raring installed with 3.8.0-34
which works with the default driver. I tried the later kernel in Saucy

If you can. get the code of oneconf in both computers (latest version), apply
the patches (I used quilt to create them; only apply fix_sso_app_name.patch
in Ubuntu 13.10), then run ./oneconf-service --debug right from the code

Ursinha reports that upstart-app-launch fails, as it cannot connect to
session-init.
Turns out there is a stale .session file with pid 1625, yet pid 1625 is
not present. It appears that no other session-init started, nor original
one respawned.
