I'm stuck on this, so I've made a patch. I'm not sure how to test it,
perhaps someone give me some pointers? I tried out this bzr thing and
it's super crazy. I can't find out how to fork and submit a pull
request. I browsed through the commands of bzr and there was some

The way this package's versioning was made makes the tool
dh_makeshlibs (debian helper) not to append proper suffix to
dependencies (using (= 1.1.10+git20130802) instead of (=
1.1.10+git20130802-1ubuntu2.1) for example).
I changed debian/rules so the proper version is considered for
dependencies:
For the record, I'm having exactly this same problem on 14.10 desktop.

This code has changed quite a bit since precise, and I don't want to
accidentally cause a regression. Given that there is a workaround
(using ssh keys) I am going to drop the priority of this and mark it
wont-fix. If someone can describe a case where using ssh keys cannot
work as a workaround,

Chris, the upload for Trusty is correct, at least according to guidance
I have received from the foundations team in the past. The guidance is
that when the only difference between what is in a prior release and the
current development release is the same sans the topic of the SRU, to
backport the
Cut|Copy + Paste stops working quite regularly in my Nautilus since
Ubuntu 14.04 and still in 14.10. The delete button also becomes
disabled. No greying out of menu itmes. The shortcuts (Ctrl + X|C|V),
delete button and menu items simple stop working.

I just did a fresh installation for Ubuntu 14.10 i386 release, and
nfs-kernel-server was installed correctly.
During the installation of nfs-kernel-server package, I can see statd service
was started successfully. I confirmed it's running:

the Manually/Automatically switches referred to the APN. So I'll try
to clarify this.
The APN is a set of configuration data needed to open a cellular data

I found the problem:
The stock Ubuntu Server 14.04.1 amd64 iso image currently downloadable
comes with a kernel which has the flag CONFIG_CONTEXT_TRACKING_FORCE=y .
Recompiling the kernel without this flag set or upgrading to a kernel
without the flag fixes the performance issues:

worse. It literally takes half a minute until suspend happens (you can
see it by using pm-suspend instead of closing the lid, because you can

I have remade the iso image after replacing gfxboot.c32 with the one from 14.04

Support, gtk2-engines-oxygen is still 1.4.5-0ubuntu1.

I've upgraded my machines from Ubuntu 12.04 LTS to 14.04 LTS as suggested.
After the update I found that the folder /dev/disks/by-path was not filled
anymore. I investigated the issue thinking that it was due to a missing rule.
