The cron script is detecting html output by grepping for html.
However, fwlogwatch is outputting
html xmlns=http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml; xml:lang=en
when in html mode. This is easily fixed by grepping for /html
instead.

From an essentially fresh installation of xubuntu 14.04, system-config-lvm
fails to start (crashes) with the trace shown below.
The relevant error message is likely: ValueError: invalid literal for float():
11,10, and the comma (,) in 11,10 make me suspect it's perhaps
A couple weeks ago I posted my issue as a question on LP and I got the
suggestions to increase my swap partition, which I did, and the
situation did improve as far as short term suspend/hibernate goes . . .

The problem occurred during updating with Update Manager. Using Ubuntu 12.04
LTS. Packages were downloaded but failed to install. Using apt-get install -f
