The user shouldn't be able to close the dash. dash should never be
closed. And if for some reason dash crashes (and therefore gets
estarted) that's an abnormal situation anyway, so it's expected that it
doesn't look pretty.

2014. I decided to insist on trying the desktop linux distributions. Now
, I use linux as my primary OS. I was using Mint 17 , switched to Ubuntu

I've downgraded all of the systemd packages to version 219-4ubuntu10 and
still hit this bug. I'm going to stop trying to determine what userspace
change started triggering this bug and start looking for a kernel fix.
