It is a simple calibration thing users can fix themselves. The BQ

Hello
I just bought a asus laptop (GL752VW-T4005T), and I tried to install
ubuntu 15.10, but the installation crashed.
I can boot correctly and choose with grud to install ubuntu or to try it. But
shorter after I choose one option, the installation crash.

Greg is correct. I ran into the bug and accidentally submitted it, and
it let me here. The problem was I set up update-alternatives, and tried
to run it under gcc and g++ 4.8. When I went back to gcc and g++ 5.2.1,
the bug went away.

How to reproduce: dont know. Just hangs randomly. It is likely more
