Hi,
The issue is now resolved, at least for me.
I recently upgraded my graphics card to an Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti,
and with it am using the Nvidia proprietary driver, version 340.96.
I've tested nearly all of those same games after a wake from suspend,
and am seeing no drops in frame rates

This is currently true. Snapd prevents removal of the core snap. Perhaps
we should allow it to be removed after all other snaps have been removed
as well?

Using Ubuntu 16.04, nVidia driver 364.19, Linux kernel 4.6.0.
I have a P65_P67RGRERA and have been experiencing the same problems:
1. If I go in to the BIOS and set the graphics mode to "DISCRETE", then
everything works.
2. If I go in to the BIOS and set the graphics mode to "MSHYBRID", then
I do not know much about Ubuntu. I switched to Ubuntu from Debian few years
ago just to have the same system as our students (we used to have Linux in
our curricula). And as I experience some queer minor problems with Ubuntu
16.04, the more and more I am considering return home to Debian ;-) ...

Looks like it is not working today with any of the above kernels - I had
multiple screens working ok on Friday with the mainline kernel, but
today it is not working. I'm not sure what changed, I will attach the
dpkg log, but am going to have to go to windows as this is a work laptop
and i can't

Have you tried modifying the string to say "Ubuntu like Android" ? does
that work with this site?
In general, we're trying to keep as much references to Ubuntu as possible,
to keep an option for sites to distinguish between phones and more
officially support Ubuntu.

I have a Canon Lide 110 scanner which is detected in scanimage -L and
sane-find-scanner. It gets stuck at the finishing end and does not
return to the starting end with xsane, simple scan and gscan2pdf.

i'm using ubuntu 16.10, after suspend / sleep the notebook, then can't connect
to wireless.
