I installed unity 8 on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, and then uninstalled it (I am
currently using normal unity). But now my title and menu bar font size
is huge, and text does not fit in the title bar. How do I properly
uninstall it or reset/reinstall unity 7?
I should mention that
I'm getting this issue on the stable 16.04 Ubuntu. Does this mean Mir
should not (cannot) be used in this combination on Xenial ? I merely
like to have a test system with similar behaviour as the mobile one as
development on PC is much easier than on tablet/phone alone.

I would like to request a feature that would make it possible to
automatically switch to an A2DP audio source.
This feature would be very useful for headsets for which you currently
have to switch to the A2DP source manually every time you connect your
headset.
Appreciate you looking into this, I was only able to test your builds
for about 5 hours on generic kernel version so far (doing some hardware
upgrades at the moment, but my current test system is torture-test
stable).
My test hardware was 2x (westmere) Intel Xeon E5620's (2 NUMA nodes)
with 12GB

the -f install is what lead me to reporting this bug...
I run 16.04 as an upgrade from 15.10 installed on a late '15 mac book pro
Please let me know if there is anything more i can provide you guys to
get this fixed.

Here are the error messages I see in the logs of my system:

was imported without specifying a version first. Use gi.require_version('Gst',
'1.0') before import to ensure that the right version
I tested the new version about 6 days ago and my issue is still
resolved, sorry if you already got notified I am unaware if changing
tags notifies watchers.

Right, I think I have v3 more or less but with the two hunks in guest_walk
added (which I mentioned). It is a bit hard to compare patches as I had to
refresh the quilt patch. On top of this I decided to pick the change that
