This is a POWER-specific "optimization" that dates to last December (so
it in fact wouldn't show up in Ubuntu 15.04 or 15.10, it appears). The

The way this is working in cloud-init seems to me to make some sense.
Basically, there are 3 places cloud-init can get its network configuration. In
order of increasing precedence:
1. datasource (only works for local datasources currently)
2. system configuration
3. kernel command line.

Getting openpty called in the container would solve a lot of problems
for us but it's not possible to do in a safe way as it'd effectively
rely on the container's filesystem which the container user can change
or fake at will, allowing for attacks on the host's C library and LXD
itself.

I tap a day to see events related to day day, the day is selected (color
changed to blue). Then I tap that day again to 'unselect' it. The list
of events is longer than was before tapping that day in the first place.

to getting it merged upstream? Has it been sent upstream, what sort of
feedback has it received, is it getting applied to a subsystem
maintainer's tree, etc?
