So, here's what I've done in the meantime:
- I've built another server with 14.04. Clean install, only OpenSSH server.
Connected to an iscsi target. Reboot works.
- Upgraded the server to 16.04.02. Reboot still works. Guess my hunch was
wrong. :(
- I've attached the journal as

Huh, weird, yeah it's quite possible it's a different issue entirely, or
a problem related to network-manager-openconnect. Because the routing-
only domain is clearly listed as DNS Domain ~. so systemd-resolved
should only send queries to the specified dns servers for the interface
vpn0.

I am new to the Linux environment and experienced this problem on my 1st
install so I reinstalled the Ubuntu system figuring that I had done something
wrong with the 1st Install.
After this 2nd install, I saw that there was a System Update listed and

I'm gonna subscribe smb who takes care of xen.
OTOH non default languages are rather rare for servers, also the impact isn't

After upgrading, network-manager stopped running DHCP, after trying to
run dhclient myself I found out it segfaults. Attached is its strace

I can connect to the internet by stopping network-manager and using
ifconfig + route + /etc/resolv.conf.

and decided not to pursue it until the kernel was released as stable.

I have found that on my Ubuntu GNOME 17.04 installation with GNOME 3.24

This appears to be a bug unrelated to the ones we currently know about,
but unfortunately the logs attached to the report don't give a complete

Hi,
nagios is somewhat unmaintained and getting removed from Debian and Ubuntu on
newer releases.
So I'd not expect too much attention on this which is kind of confirmed by
being dormant so long.
OTOH there were a few updates to the contrib in zesty and artful.
So since the report the version

That's indeed strange. One thing I see some have reported causing this
is anivirus software, so if you are running any try stopping it and
installing again.
Did you have these kernel packages installed already from when they were
still in -proposed? If so (for future reference) there wasn't any
