I will install default ubuntu xenial firefox_58.0.2 and see if that crash on a
different asm instruction than my custom build and I will report .
By the way I managed to set up a cross compile development , now I compile it
with a intel cpu and is a lot faster . So a lot of testing can be made .
you might need to install both: r8168-dkms & libelf.dev (a r8168 report
already exist on launchpad)

Hi Marc,
Tested on same Win server 2008R8 VM image, with -24test PPA package
installed, < 30 sec boot to login screen. All looks good again.
Let me know how we can binary search the issue if that help. I'm happy
to compile up code if it is 'out-of-the-box' type stuff.
Cheers,
Carl

the patch upstreamed to Debian? So it won't break on a future merge?

Hi Austin:
Lenovo has introduced several touchpad models.
Please try install kernel linux-image-4.13.0-1021-oem to check if it is fixed.
This kernel version had merged the elantech patch.

Public bug reported:
With Ubuntu 17.10 I was able to press the Super key and do simple math
quickly (i.e. 40/5 would give me answer of 8), not so with 18.04
testing. Is this due to the fact that GNOME Calculator application is a
snap app? Also Calculator is missing in Search options in GNOME

marking as affecting the reverse-dependency tree of net-cpp. Since
there doesn't appear to be a maintainer for net-cpp itself anymore,
either someone interested in the reverse-dependencies will need to step
up to maintain it, or the entire tree will need to be dropped from the
release pocket.

I manage 300+ machines that run openafs that has a dkms built kernel
module like the nvidia module that needs to be built. I also manage
dozens of nvidia gpu servers where users have sudo access and can
install anything they want. Here is a snippet of what I found. Note this
