audio device itself is a different one. it looks like jackdbus is
frozen. killall -9 jackd jackdbus will kill it. Then maybe try running
jack with a buffersize of 4096 rather than 1024 as some mother board
audio systems

I see this problem on a Dell Inspiron 3630.
Workaround:
The problem is only manifest when the modules are loaded during boot. After
booting, I only have the dummy sound card. But if I run `sudo alsa
force-reload` my sound card is correctly detected and functions fine until my
next reboot.

a future kernel version, if not already.
