Several days ago I found huge lags over all system on my Ubuntu 20.04.1
LTS. Today I think found the problem, but not the reason. So when I open
Settings -> Sound menu, the CPU usage comes to about 100%. If I close
Settings window or go to other tab, it becomes OK. Nothing

I think your suggestion could work in principle, however I doubt it will
be implemented in practice. It would mean modifying a package to support
an unsupported package and more in general an unsupported setup.

I restarted forcing primer-select nvidia and the problem goes back. Attaching

I rebooted in recovery mode and run nvidia-smi again in text console and the
driver this time is there with no complaints as before (nvidia-smi

this is just going in circles. i don't understand the details but it seems that:
* it's quite ok to have a monospace filter built into the gnome-terminal font
selector
* this job is really delegated to the pango lib, which uses the first fc result
to determine the spacing for the *whole* family
The 1:3.36.4-0ubuntu2 update works as documented

Hm, if I add an AD username I can mount the share with an valid kerberos
ticket for the user:

I think 512M for a 2GB system is a little too much to reserve. Can you
double check the details of that LUKS partition? Was it created during
an installation with a 2GB system? Or did you reduce the VM size after
installation?
Can you send the output of cryptsetup luksDump /dev/XXX?

I restarted with nvidia and the card is back but the drivers do not
work. Currently driver 455 is selected to be used but the primary
selection is intel (see below)
