such a plan for groovy, but the most likely SRU in pipeline would be a
focal update to 3.24.23, so he gave me a 'green light' for this groovy
one.
The bug is an annoying one. Maybe the importance was set too low...
No, looking quickly at the code that should be set in the capabilities
returned by the query capabilities call. But not in the static
device_caps. And if that is added back, one cannot drop that flag for
exclusive_caps functionality without triggering repeated kernel
warnings.

For me, it seems that the installer is ignoring my setting on where to
install MBR (on the Something else... partition screen of the
installer). I confirmed that the selected device both has an EFI
partition, and that the EFI Partition has space (more than 200 MB). I am
booting off external SD

Hi, I booted by disabling secure boot as suggested and it seems to fix
the wifi issue.
After disabling secure boot, I had to reboot into Windows once to get
wifi working again, and then I tried rebooting into Linux a couple of
times. So far wifi has worked everytime.

Right, but the only relevant line in this file is: "See ./test-suite.log",
which must be a separate file. So I wonder if it's saved somewhere alongside
stdout/stderr?
