I'm thinking that enabling socket activation was a mistake, as no other
distro I know of (besides Debian etc) do that. It also requires patching
adcli and freeipa to not put "services = ..." line on the sssd.conf or
it would fail to start.

into 2-4 horizontal and diagonal sections during any scrolling event,

expected:
$ multipass launch -n munin-test daily:16.04
$ multipass shell munin-test

No it was mounted but fsck.vfat got stuck for some reason, but the sd-

I'm running Ubuntu 20.04 with the latest updates on a Thinkpad X220.
Since about a week I keep having network disconnects. I am using an
Intel Corporation Centrino Advanced-N 6205 wifi chip. Before it's been
working great.
There seem to be others with this recent problem.
For what it's worth, as a dev who's spent plenty of time hacking the
kernel in a prior job, I really appreciate the effort. Hopefully it
won't be completely in vain.

I suspect what happened is the bug documented in bug 1906877, if the
control panel is set to automatic and then back to never the file which
enables automatic reporting is not removed. We are working to resolve
this bug in all affected releases of Ubuntu. Thanks for reporting this

Thanks for clarifying offline that the Openstack/Ceph team is okay with
more than one commit per patch file.
So, on the debdiff 'noise', I've previously seen and usually removed
that stuff; this seems to be due to the packaging not cleaning up files
generated at build time, I guess.

Regarding the original question we don't automatically follow the
release branches in stable releases especially not in interim releases
which have only 9 months of support.
