Looking at the debian-science source package it produces a science-tasks
package for tasksel and a series of science-* metapackages. Removing
tasksel from Ubuntu would require us to patch debian-science (at least I
didn't look at all the rdeps of tasksel) and remove the science-tasks
binary

The Ubuntu signing box is running Ubuntu Bionic. The riscv64
architecture is expanding. We expect development boards using EDK II to
appear in 2022. We should be able to support secure boot then.
A patch for enabling this has been accepted upstream:

The problem is that both gitsome and gh packages are shipping a binary
named gh, so the one is trying to overwrite the other. I found a
corresponding bug report in Debian (see the bug watch), where a possible
rename
FTR the package we had in Ubuntu was never related to the Debian
packaging, so I don't class the Debian removal as relevant rationale
here (and that's why it wasn't removed via process-removals); but as an
unmaintained Ubuntu-specific package that's not being maintained, it's
also fine to remove
@paelzer I'm not exactly sure of where we are in the status diagram for
rustc in the MIR. I put it as "In Progress" by default.
Given the conclusion in bug #1964098 as well as the various answers
brought in comments #7 and #10 I think I've addressed all comments. As I
believe rustc to be useful
