Before I started recording, I installed the latest Ubuntu 22.04 daily
ISO on a VM (issue happens on bare metal too). The only thing I did
before hand was run sudo apt full-upgrade. So
I guess subiquity's expectation is still that the installation media is
read-only. I wonder how we can detect that this is OK to allow...

perdon for the delay, but the Covid is not a sympatical illness. :-(
I have just finished the test of encfs with the older rsync's version
(3.1.2-2.1) on a virtual machine. The problem (IO error encountered -- skipping
file deletion) is still there, so it looks like there is no bug with
I applied same test plan on 5.15.0-25-generic with and without the feature
patchset on CX6-dx.
In both cases the test kernel had the the problematic patch from (bug

I got the exact same results as in comment #6 so the patch set does not
